ALBAWABA - A video sparked anger across social media platforms, reportedly showing Ukrainian soldiers carrying out an attack inside an Orthodox Church.
A clip, which was not verified by authorities, circulated online, triggering anger among Christians, where a group of soldiers, believed to be Ukrainians, were seen vandalizing a church and terrorizing worshippers.
A group of armed men were spotted inside an Orthodox Church, with sounds of things getting broken, can be heard in the background, while one of the soldiers was seen shouting in the footage.
Soldiers were all seen with a yellow band on their left arms. Church benches were also seen toppled and broken.
Several social media accounts shared the video and wrote, "Zelensky’s thugs attack the Orthodox Church … funded by western tax money."
A person commented, "Exactly what you'd expect from the Zelenskyites..."
Another said, "I don't know much about Ukraine. But I am surprised they seem to have such dark skin."
It is unclear when the clip was taken or on what day, nor whether the video was an AI-generated one to increase the tension between the two countries, which have been in a war since 2022, when Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a 'special military operation in Kyiv'.
