ALBAWABA - A shocking video circulating across social media of a Ukrainian man dressing like a woman in hopes of fleeing the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine took the internet by storm. However, he was caught by local police.
According to Al Arabiya, the individual in question is a 44-year-old male named Sergei who was stopped by the local police at the border shared between Romania and Ukraine because they were suspicious of his physique which caused the investigation to occur.

Moreover, He tried to flee from the Romanian border with his sister's passport.
They suspected that the Ukranian 44-year-old was trying to avoid compulsory military service. Ukraine's law says that men between 18 and 60 are banned from leaving the country for that exact reason.
The border guard posted a video across social media mocking the individual with condescending words:
"The charming Sergita planned a trip abroad. A 44-year-old resident of Zolotoncha disguised as a woman and tried to cross the border with Romania with his sister’s passport."

According to the BBC, around 20,000 Ukrainian men have fled the country because of compulsory military service amid the ongoing war between the country and Russia. But there are special exceptions for those who suffer from medical conditions, if the person is caring for three or more children, is raising a child alone, or is raising a child with a disability.
