ALBAWABA - Anger spread in the Algerian community after a video went viral showing female teachers assaulting a little child at an educational institution.
The incident sparked outrage, with some condemning the practice as illegal and others questioning why it was filmed on school grounds. On the other hand, others called the Ministry of Education in Algeria to identify the teachers, punish them and force them to resign.
In the viral footage, the teachers struck a child who was standing in line before one of them escorted him into the classroom, and on the way, he seemed to know what would happen to him.
As soon as the video circulated online, it ignited widespread controversy, particularly within the educational community, where many considered it a violation of the law and the internal regulations of any educational institution.
Nasser Djilali, a member of the Parents' Association, stated: "Neither the law nor pedagogical training permits such practices, which are detrimental to the proper upbringing of students, especially in the early stages of education (primary and middle school), when students are psychologically vulnerable and any abusive behavior can cause them trauma."
