ALBAWABA - A video has taken the internet by storm showing the moment the body of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was retrieved from under the rubble in Beirut's southern suburb.

In the clip, a crane was seen carrying the body of Hassan Nasrallah covered in a white sheet from underground.

According to social media users, the body seen in the video belonged to the leader of Hezbollah, who was killed in powerful airstrikes by Israel on Beirut's southern suburb on Sept. 27.

Meanwhile, earlier people online reportedly circulated a picture of Hassan Nasrallah's alleged famous ring, seen broken in the photo, however, a fack-check website denied the rumor.

Hassan Nasrallah was assassinated on Friday along with 20 other Hezbollah commanders in the Israeli airstrike. According to the Israeli army, Ali Karaki, commander of Hezbollah’s Southern Front, Ibrahim Hussein Jazini, head of Nasrallah's security unit, and Nabil Qaouk, the deputy head of the Hezbollah Executive Council are among those targeted in the airstrike on Sept. 27.

Hezbollah's statement on Saturday didn't mention how he was killed nor when his funeral would be, however, Ynet news revealed that two sources reported that Nasrallah's body had no direct wounds and that it appeared the cause of death was blunt trauma from the force of the explosion.
