ALBAWABA - Social media geeks, especially in Turkey, have been widely circulating a short video clip, which documented the collapse of a building on a rescue team while it searched for survivors under the rubble.
The video showed parts of the building, mainly damaged by the devastating earthquake in the Turkish city of Hatay, falling on members of the search and rescue team.
One clip showed that concrete from a damaged building fell on one rescuer, killing him instantly. It showed others in the team rushing for his help.
Hatay is one of the areas hardest hit by the earthquake that struck southern Turkey as well as northern Syria at dawn on Monday, killing more than 28,000 and injuring tens of thousands in both countries.
