ALBAWABA - A video went viral online showing a man, who is believed to be Kurdish, slapping the head of the former President of the United States Donald Trump.
In the clip, Trump was in the middle of a speech in one of the states before a man came from the back and slapped the ex-president's back head.
According to netizens, the Kurdish man who slapped Donald Trump, did it because the former US president mocked the traditional dress of the Iranian man's wife triggering his anger so he jumped and attacked Trump.
The clip then shows bodyguards of Trump rushing to the stage to protect him.
Here's the truth behind the video of a man slapping Donald Trump's head
As many circulated the video of a man allegedly slapping former US president Donald Trump, it turned out that the video is super old and has nothing to do with Kurds or Iranians.
In fact, the video is edited using new technologies. The old and original footage shows Trump's guards rushing to the stage after the former president felt unsafe by a protester who was present during his speech.
On YouTube, CBS News posted the same clip to Donald Trump eight years ago clarifying that the clip shows Secret Service agents jumping next to Trump to protect him after a protester "at his Vandalia, OH rally tried to climb on stage."
In the real footage, not a person was seen attacking or hitting Donald Trump, but only showed guards protecting Trump after he was shocked by the protester, who was trying to reach him.
