ALBAWABA - A video of Israeli soldiers launching an incendiary object using a primitive catapult toward southern Lebanon amid clashes between Israel and Hezbollah went viral across social media platforms, most prominently X (formerly known as Twitter).
The video in question showcased several Israeli soldiers standing next to the borders of occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon with a wall blocking the way.
Moreover, one was standing next to what seems to be a catapult which is an ancient machine used in historical times to slingshot heavy objects towards enemies.

Users on X took to several comment sections where the video circulated and shared their opinions about it, here's what they had to say:
"They have run out of US taxpayers dollars."
"Those catapults couldn't even defeat Vikings in Scandinavia."

By the time of writing this article, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has resulted in the killing of more than 37,000 Palestinians of whom are children (not counting the ones buried under the rubble), as reported by the ministry of health in Gaza.
Additionally, at least 84,000 Palestinians since Oct. 7 were injured due to the constant bombardment from Israel leaving many Gazans homeless, displaced, and malnourished.
