ALBAWABA - On Aug. 25, Hezbollah announced an early response to the killing of the movement's Commander Fuad Shukr which Israel carried out on July 30.

"We have launched a large-scale aerial attack with numerous drones towards a significant military target deep within Israel, which will be revealed later," Hezbollah's statement reads.

Following Sunday's attack by Hezbollah, the Israeli Army launched airstrikes on southern Lebanon as a preemptive measure.

A video was posted online showing a chicken farm in southern Israel on fire after a rocket by Hezbollah hit the area.

In the footage, chickens were spotted near the fire caused by the Hezbollah attack. According to sources, the farm is located in Manot settlement in Israel.

In another clip, a missile by Hezbollah fell in Southern Israel. In response, Israel has announced a hundred air force jets striking thousands of Hezbollah rocket attack platforms.

On the Hezbollah attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "This morning, we detected Hezbollah's preparations to attack Israel. In consultation with the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff, we instructed the IDF to act proactively to remove the threat.”

Hezbollah revealed that it fired around 320 rockets at northern Israel, including at areas like Safed and Acre, and 11 military sites.

Fuad Shukr, a senior military commander of Hezbollah, was killed in an Israeli air strike in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon on July 30.

The Iran-backed group confirmed a day after the Israeli airstrike on the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut, that Fuad Shukr's body was found in the rubble.

The Israeli strike came in response to a rocket attack that killed 12 people in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on July 27, which Israel blamed Hezbollah for despite the latter's denial of carrying out the attack.

It is worth noting that the Israeli attack killed four others, including two children.
