ALBAWABA - An enormous python was spotted in southern Thailand following the massive floods that hit the country.
A video was posted on social media showing part of the animal causing panic in the hearts of civilians living in the area.
Floods in southern Thailand left at least 29 people killed and forced more than 30,000 people to flee their homes, according to officials in the Asian country.
The Thai government's public relations department revealed in a statement that over 155,000 households were affected by the heavy floods which affected five southern provinces; Pattani, Narathiwat, Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung.
According to netizens, the floods filled the python's cave and it ran out into the street. Many users were shocked by the scene, one said: "When I woke up early in the morning I found this."
However, many others just couldn't believe the video considering that the size of the animal was not real to the point that no one could believe it.
Nonetheless, others highlighted that the video could be edited as the head of the python was unseen and that the video is super short.
On the other hand, no officials in Thailand have made any statement regarding the video reportedly showing an enormous python in southern Thailand.
