ALBAWABA - A video of a spaceship reportedly spotted in Kuwait has taken the internet by storm, garnering more than three million views on Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) and triggering a swarm of speculations about its authenticity.

The video in question was titled in Arabic, "UFO found in Kuwait. Could this be true or is it a new type of plane? Or something else?" It showcased a black and spherical UFO-like spaceship with people in white hazmat suits surrounding it.

According to several users on X, the video appears to have been made using AI (artificial intelligence) and had nothing to do with Kuwait, but instead, it was first released on Dec. 31, 2024, claiming that the spaceship was found in the US, specifically Arizona.

The video posted on December 31 was titled, "UFO crash in Arizona." One social media user replied, "This is AI. The reflections are wrong, and the size of the craft changes sizes."

AI is only becoming better when it comes to generating images, to the point that in some cases a non-trained eye could easily fall for its authenticity, leading to false news and other legal issues, like the spaceship video in question.

Just recently, a picture of a Temu warehouse in China catching fire went viral across social media only to find out that it was created using X's Grok AI tool. Fact-checking website Snopes launched an investigation into the matter due to the Temu logo looking inauthentic compared to its official lettering and icons.
