China’s government systematic oppression of the Uyghur Muslim minority is on the rise with no end in sight.
Lately, social media users have been circulating footage of mosques and total neighbourhoods being torn down to the ground by the Chinese authorities as part of the government’s crackdown against the Muslim minority who had around million people detained into so-called “re-education camps” where they are being forced to denounce religion, eat pork and drink alcohol which are prohibited in their religion.
One video documented the moment when a mosque was torn down by a huge truck, as it represents the most sacred place of worship for the Uyghur Muslim.
