ALBAWABA - A nerve-racking video was recently shared across social media of a whopping 200 passengers fleeing from a Delta Airlines plane due to it suffering from an engine problem, resulting in four injuries, according to the Mirror US.

The 201 passengers including two pilots and five flight attendants were seen exiting the airplane using several emergency inflatable slides placed across the doors of the plane and evacuated by a bus.

The incident in question occurred when the Delta plane (Boeing 757-300) failed to take off at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport due to engine failure. This all comes in after a series of delays due to a snowstorm hitting Georgia city.

Out of the four injuries mentioned, only one individual was evacuated to the hospital while the other three received minor on-hand treatment.

Delta spokesperson Morgan Durrant issued a statement where he said that the flight crew "followed established procedures to suspend the takeoff."

He added, "Nothing is more important than the safety of our people and customers, and we apologize to our customers for their experience. We are working to support our customers and get them to their destinations as safely and quickly as possible."

After the video swarmed a plethora of social media platforms, users took to the comments section, relieved that the engine failed before the flight took off since this could've been much worse than four injuries.

One user wrote, "Thank God the engine failed before take-off..."

Another added, "This shows that many people don't follow the instructions given at the beginning of the flight ... maybe their face was stuck in the screen."
