Onijah Robinson, 33, traveled all the way from the United States in October 2024 to Pakistan to meet "the love of her life" to find herself alone in the country and stuck inside the airport with an expired visa.

Nidal Ahmed Memon lured Onijah Robinson and convinced her that he loved her so she would come to Pakistan, but the moment she came, he broke his promises. The US woman stayed outside his home in Karachi with the aim of getting the answer on why she was abandoned.
YouTuber Tessori offered to help the American woman and give her a ticket home, but she instead wanted to stay in Pakistan and she requested money from Nidal, who is being held by Pakistani intelligence.

Another Karachi man made an offer for Onijah Robinson in order to marry her so she could stay in Pakistan.
A Karachi man said that he has three main conditions to marry Onijah; she should convert
to Islam and become Muslim, accept being a second wife (considering that he is already married), and his first wife agree on his second marriage.
