ALBAWABA - The United States have allocated a bounty of $15 million for any information about an Iranian businessman who is linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The US posted on Rewards for Justice, which is linked to the American Foreign Ministry, that Hossein Hatefi Ardakani had managed an international network that helped the Iranian army obtain sophisticated technology, such as developed drones that Russia use now in its war in Ukraine.

Rewards for Justice posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Reward up to $15M for Info on IRGC-Linked Businessman." The account added: "Hossein Hatefi Ardakani helps Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps acquire technology for production of attack drones. IRGC drone sales help fund its terrorist activities."
The US also asked anyone who has information about the Iranian businessman to contact it immediately.
In detail, Ardakani's network has been active in the Middle East and East Asia for the past 10 years, through companies in Malaysia and Hong Kong, to purchase and transfer sensitive materials, technologies, equipment and components made in the US and other countries for the Military Development Organization in Iran, Rewards for Justice added.
The international network which was organized by the Iranian businessman also worked to develop programs for Drones, especially the Shahed-136 attack drone, in addition to the Shahed-131, which was also transferred to Russia.
