ALBAWABA - Several users on X (formerly known as Twitter) are claiming that the US will be allegedly changing its official flag after Congress proposed an amendment for it.
A user called '1984' took their official X account and wrote "Congress has just proposed an amendment to change the official flag of the United States.
Sources say the redesigned flag has strong bipartisan support. What do you think of it?" He attached a photo of the American flag but the Jewish Star of David was placed instead of the 50 stars everybody knows.
US to add the Star of David to its flag?
Amid the rumors of the possible redesign, users took to 1984's comment section to state their opinion on the matter:
"Seems slightly more Transparent — just need the AIPAC and ADL sponsorship logos..."
One user also claimed that "The resolution for the new flag just passed 2 hours ago with 210 republicans and 210 democrats voting Yes".
"Accurate, yet hideous."
One user quoted the current president of the United States Joe Biden when he said "The State of Israel was born to be a safe place for the Jewish people. That's where I was born." and "I am a Zionist. You don't have to be a Jew to be a Zionist."
According to a 2019 article by the Times of Israel, where it stated that Congress is three times as Jewish as the US with 34 representatives and 535 lawmakers in both chambers at hand.
