A TikTok video posted by Kamala Harris' niece has gone viral online as the new US Vice President posed wearing "The Future is Female" socks and made a joke about the second impeachment of the outgoing US president Donald Trump.

In the short video, Harris is handed a jar with peach-flavored mints she described as "impeach-mints," referring to the fact that the outgoing US president Donald Trump has become the country's first president to be impeached more than once.
As soon as the video was posted by Meena Harris on the Chinese platform of short videos three days ago, it has received more than 15 million views and near 3 million likes.

In response to the video, social media users had mixed reactions as some of them believed it was a pitiful attempt to get back at a political rival, who has just conceded to losing elections despite months of resisting the results of the 2020 election.

Some other users thought Kamala who often appears on her niece's Tiktok channel is trying to become a social media star, similar to the way Trump had been on Twitter throughout his four years in office. However, Harris' choice of Tiktok has been dubbed as an attempt to reach a younger generation of Americans, many of whom can form a strong political base.
