ALBAWABA - Amid the intense war between Russia and Ukraine, people in Kyiv are trying all possible methods to escape joining the army to fight against Moscow.
A video was shared online showing handmade masks that are specially made for Ukrainians who want to avoid fighting.
The handmade masks are designed to make young people look older so that they can escape joining the Ukrainian army.
According to some people on social media, the signal mask costs about 13,600 Ukrainian hryvnia ($358.52).
Reactions varied on social media as many were shocked how the handmade masks don't look fake at all when a young person wears them. Some handmade masks also have scars and face pimples that help look more natural to a human face.
Meanwhile, many others on social media called to start exporting the handmade masks abroad so they will be available in more countries so other young people can also escape their military service.
On the other hand, many didn't believe that handmade masks could help escape military service, adding that in civil affairs, people's information and age are documented and no one can manipulate that.
A person commented: "Regarding the ID and passport, how does the age change?!"
