Tucker Carlson blasted over his 'people eating hummus' comment
Tucker Carlson, the Former Fox News television personality, was blasted all over social media and accused of antisemitism after his speech in which he likened the story of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ at the hands of jews to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Carlson said that both Jesus and Kirk were killed for telling the truth. In the statement, he said, "I can just sort of picture the scene in a lamp-lit room with a bunch of guys sitting around eating hummus, thinking about, ‘What do we do about this guy telling the truth about us?' We must make him stop talking."
He added, "And there's always one guy with a bright idea, I can just hear him say, 'I've got an idea, why don't we just kill him?'"
A massive wave of backlash surrounded Tucker Carlson, with many people accusing him of being an antisemite, while others allegedly said that he hinted at the claim that Jewish people killed Charlie Kirk, just like they did to Jesus.
An X user shared the video and said, "Tucker Carlson is facing backlash from Israeli supporters, who are labeling him an 'antisemite' after he described the Pharisees as 'sitting around eating hummus' while plotting Christ’s crucifixion."
Another commented, "Tucker isn’t even trying to hide his vile antisemitism."
A netizen added, "Tucker Carlson laughs maniacally as he says that 'Hummus eaters of Jerusalem' killed Jesus, implying that Jews murdered Charlie Kirk."
