ALBAWABA - A video circulated on the internet and triggered a river of questions, showing US President Donald Trump before he welcomed his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Alaska.

The clip showed Donald Trump on the red carpet struggling to walk in a straight line has sparked a wave of confusion and speculation on social media, with many questioning the US president's health.

Although the original version of the clip appeared normal, activists sped it up to show Trump walking in a swaying manner. However, some online users considered this evidence of "physical confusion," while others viewed it as merely a technical manipulation of the video.

A person posted the clip and wrote: "Trump struggled to walk in a straight line as he went to greet Putin." Another said: "Trump couldn’t even walk in a straight line to greet Putin; stumbling like a man who just met gravity for the first time."

A person jokingly wrote: "It’s how to walk to avoid sniper fire."

Many defended Trump, saying the video was sped up just to mock the president, and they shared the original video of the US leader to show that he was fine.

On the other hand, Putin also sparked widespread reaction after what was described as a "change in protocol" during his joint press conference with Trump after he took the lead in delivering the first speech, unlike other receptions, where the host US president usually speaks before his guest.

Putin opened the press conference in Anchorage, Alaska, on Aug. 15, with Trump present, who only spoke after him.

Following the six-hour meeting, the US President said he and Vladimir Putin made "great progress" but did not emerge with a deal to end the war in Ukraine.
