Amid controversy over the clip which was posted by Iranian media in recent times, it turned out that the video was very old from Qasem Soleimani and al-Muhandis' visit to the castle in Iraq.

Tasnim News Agency published the video of Soleimani, touring one of the palaces of the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein with the comment: "Footage of Soleimani's presence in Saddam's palace."

It mainatined: "These shots are related to the documentary film 'He Who Destroyed and He Who Built,' which is being shown for the first time."

Tasnim, however, did not mention the date of filming or the exact location of the palace.
