TikToker arrested over spraying pesticide on Walmart products

ALBAWABA - 27-year-old TikToker Charles Smith who is best known as Wolfie Kahletti on social media made headlines after being arrested for spraying pesticide on Walmart products while filming the incident to generate views. 

Wolfie Kahletti who is known for his "prank" content sprayed the insect killer on multiple produce at Walmart including fruits, vegetables, and rotisserie chickens. The Mesa Police Department later arrested the man and was charged with affecting poison, criminal damage, and theft.

The clip was condemned by social media users across a plethora of platforms where they called out Smith for doing something dangerous to the people around him and illegal. 

One social media user wrote on Muks's X (formerly known as Twitter), "This guy should be put behind bars for a while. He is a danger to society."

Another added, "Anything for those clicks…it’s all fun and games until you are sitting in a cell…"

Other users also advised customers to always rinse their produce before consuming them to prevent health scares.

The police added in a statement, "He then sprayed the pesticide on various produce items, including vegetables, fruit, and rotisserie chickens that were available for purchase. Smith filmed his face, the pesticide can, and the act of spraying. He later posted the video online."

After his arrest, Walmart confirmed removing all the produce affected by the pesticide spray to ensure its customers' safety, as reported by Fox 10 Phoenix.
