ALBAWABA - Syrian police arrested a father and his wife over the horrific case of torturing his child by burning his little feet.
A report was made to the police station in Tartous Governorate that a 5-year-old boy was subjected to horrific torture at the hands of his father and stepmother.
In detail, Syrian media revealed that the boy was admitted to the hospital after being tortured, beaten, and having his feet burned.
A statement released by the Syrian Ministry of Interior on Facebook revealed that the child after getting medical care said that his father and his stepmother tortured him and that he was tied inside the house, but he was able to escape.
The little Syrian child confirmed he was saved by a person encountered on the road after he escaped abuse in his family house.
Following the arrest, the Syrian man and his wife admitted during the investigations that they had tortured the child, and burned his feet with charcoal, claiming that he had issues with his behavior.
They will be referred to the judiciary to take legal measures against them.
