ALBAWABA - Egyptian blogger and designer Hadia Ghaleb has been trending on social media after releasing her 2024 swimwear set over its extra high prices.
Hadia Ghaleb posted on her Instagram story photos of the new swimwear which are some suits for both hijabi women and not as well as it showcases some swim shorts for men as well.
Ghaleb has landed in hot water after the new pictures went viral with hilarious comments mocking the extra price. According to the Egyptian blogger's website, the normal burkini swimwear price can reach up to 15,000 Egyptian Pounds ($317).
"Can the swimwear teach you how to swim?" a person wrote a comment, while another added: "Does this price include the hotel booking?"
This summer not only women's swimwear were expensive, but the Egyptian designer also released a new collection for men.
A man's swim shorts cost 5,136 Egyptian pounds ($108). A person on X mockingly said: "Someone please ask Hadia Ghalib if she has a swimsuit for rent."
It is worth mentioning that last summer, the prices of Hadia Ghaleb's swimwear were also expensive where the one can reach 8,000 Egyptian Pounds ($169).
