ALBAWABA - A video flooding social media captured a shocking moment when a United Airlines plane collided with a bakery truck and a light pole while landing at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
According to the New Jersey State Police, the Boeing 767 plane flying from Venice, Italy, was carrying 231 passengers and crew when its landing tire and underside collided with a pole and truck. No injuries were reported, except for the truck driver, who was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police added that the H&S Bakery truck "was unscathed," but the plane's wheel flew into the driver's window, causing him to suffer from small cuts.

In response to the accident, United Airlines released a statement adding that it plans to "conduct a rigorous flight safety investigation into the incident and our crew has been removed from service as part of this process."
Several local reports state that, despite the incident, the aircraft landed safely and all passengers and crew were evacuated. Reports added that a Jeep was also hit when the plane crashed into both the pole and the truck.
