Palestinian journalist Hani Abu Rezeq made a post about the Saja and said:

"This is the story of a four-year-old girl named Saja Junaid. She couldn't enjoy her childhood much. She was a beautiful child until the Israeli occupation army bombed her home in Jabalia camp, turning her beautiful face into a burnt and disfigured one due to internationally banned weapons."

He claimed that her father fled from the Al-Shifa Hospital to try and get food as the four-year-old hadn't tasted food for three days.
