ALBAWABA - Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri has shocked many people on social media after his 1st appearance in two years.

On Tuesday, the al-Mustaqbal Movement leader showed up at the Center House in Beirut for a meeting with American Ambassador Lisa Johnson and Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Daryan.

Saad Hariri, since his last appearance on Monday, has been the main talk of the Lebanese people across social media platforms due to his new look that was described as "shocking" by many.

Yesterday, Hariri met with the Lebanese designate-prime minister President Najib Mikati in the government palace.

Saad Hariri, 53, appeared a bit older than usual, but he adopted a new haircut that was said to have totally changed his outlook.

Nonetheless, the former PM of Lebanon, who withdrew from political life two years ago, looked more thin than what he usually used to look.

A social media user posted the photo of Saad Hariri and wrote: "You have changed, just like how the country has."

Saad Hariri's return came days ahead of the anniversary of his father Rafic Hariri's assassination on February 14.
