ALBAWABA - Each year, people anticipate seeing the Ramadan ad for Zain as each year the famous company releases a unique video highlighting common issues in the Middle East.
This year, The war in the Gaza Strip was the main focus of the video in a message that aimed to raise awareness about deteriorating conditions amid Israeli attacks which began on Oct. 7.
The main message of the Zain ad is "سنعود (which means: We'll be back)" which confirms Palestinians' rights to take their lands back and return to their homes.

Ramadan 2024 Zain ad returns killed Gazan kids to life
In the Zain ad, the company chose that this year, the heroes of the video would be Gaza kids who were killed during the latest war in Gaza, which left at least 31,112 killed and 72,889 injured.
Ramadan 2024, Zain chose the famous character "Handala" along with the children of Gaza to be the heroes of its advertising campaign, and picked the title "We will return".
Zain's ad also included the message "Because the adults remained silent, the children will plead... and the people will be fair to us if the balance of politicians is money." In the ad, Zain also focused on mentioning Gazan kids who were killed in Israeli airstrikes.
The character of Handala and the children of Gaza called for justice against Israel, and to shed light on the suffering of the Palestinian people for more than 75 years, under the Israeli occupation.
