Photos: Tourist angers Italians over 'sex acts' on statue of Bacchus

ALBAWABA - A tourist in Italy's Florence has sparked the anger of Italian officials after photos in which she was kissing, humping and grinding against a statue of Bacchus.

Photos were taken and shared on social media showing a tourist doing "mimicked sex acts" against the statue of Bacchus, the god of wine and sensuality, during the weened.

The pictures went viral on social media as an investigation to identify the tourist was launched as till this moment she was not recognized by authorities in Italy who also warned she could be banned from entering the city forever.

The country’s culture ministry and officials in Florence expressed their anger and fury over the incident calling it "mimicked sex acts".

According to CNN, the statue of Bacchus is a replica of the original created in the 16th century by sculptor Giambologna.
