ALBAWABA - The gender debate of France's First Lady Brigitte Macron has been going on for years after a claim was made that President Emmanuel Macron's wife is transgender and was born as a "man".
New photos went viral on social media showing Brigitte Macron wearing bikini on a yacht with Macron sparking wide fuss as many claimed that the photos of the First Lady of France show a hidden "penis".
In another photo, Brigitte Macron was seen in a dark blue one-piece bikini with an extra thing appearing in her genital place as many allegedly said that her gender is "obvious". A person commented on X: "Brigitte Macron is packing something in that bikini bottom."
Another person said: "It is not even a secret anymore."
However, some netizens defended Macron's wife saying that the pictures are probably edited especially the one where Brigitte is wearing the dark blue bikini.
After research, it turned out that the picture of Macron and his wife while she was wearing a dark blue bikini dates back to 2020. Tatler's website shared the photos four years ago and confirmed that the pictures were taken from their vacation on the Côte d'Azur, South of France.
When did the rumor about Brigitte Macron start?
According to local reports, last summer, a defamation lawsuit was filed against two French women, who appeared in a YouTube video claiming that Brigitte was born in 1953 as a boy under the name "Jean-Michel Trogneux," which is in fact Brigitte's brother's name.
In 2021, Amandine Roy and Natacha Rey shared the four-hour video on YouTube, and years later, they were persecuted by a court in Normandy city for sharing the allegation against Brigitte Macron.
French magazine shares photos of Brigitte as a 'boy'
During an International Women’s Day event in Paris, President Macron responded for the first time since the spread of the allegations questioning the birth gender of his wife. He denied conspiracy theories regarding Brigitte Macron saying they are "false and fabricated."
Despite the rejection of the allegations being spread on Brigitte Macron, a French magazine posted several photos claiming they show the wife of the French president in her childhood.
In the alleged photos shared by the French magazine, a boy was seen sitting wearing a shirt and a short.
However, many media outlets confirmed that the boy in the photos is not Brigitte Macron but "her brother, Jean-Michel Trogneux, from 1953, 1954, and 1955."
