ALBAWABA - An advertisement for Domestos - Turkey has sparked wide anger on social media and among activists who accused the ad of being anti-Palestine.
"No Place for Germs," the slogan of the ad, that caused wide anger in Turkey, reads.
Domestos is a UK-based cleaning company owned by Unilever, which supports the Israeli occupation.
Turks accused Domestos - Turkey of adding symbols similar to the emblem of the Palestinian state and the colors of the Palestinian flag in an ad in a way that appeared like "mocking" the suffering in Palestine.

Following the controversial ad, many activists and pro-Palestinians launched a widespread campaign online calling to boycott Domestos and its products after accusing it of supporting the Israeli occupation in its war against Palestinian civilians.
The anger didn't remain online and moved to the streets, Turks were seen touring down the company's billboards in protest against what they said was "describing Palestinians as germs."
Despite anger and boycott campaigns against the company did not release any statement or any comment on the controversial ad, but it suspended the comments on all Instagram posts related to the advertisement.
Turkish journalist Özlem Doğan decried Domestos - Turkey ad and posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Boycotting the company is not enough."
