ALBAWABA - A new video showing Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin alive after the plane crash that was said to have killed the Russian oligarch shocked many people on social media.
In the footage, the Wagner chief appeared in a car without the knowledge of the country he was allegedly in during the video.
Social media users allegedly said that Prigozhin was saying that he didn't die in the plane accident that took place on Aug. 23 and was heading from Moscow to St. Petersburg when it crashed.
However, many people are speculating about the death of the Wagner Group leader saying he could have faked his death despite Russia's confirmation that he was on the plane that tragically crashed.
Some claimed that the video is old and was resurfaced on social media just to trigger views and interaction.
What triggered even more questions about whether the Wagner leader is still alive or was killed in the plane crash was that Prigozhin's funeral was only attended by a small number of people and that Russian President Vladimir Putin skipped the ceremony.
Russia confirmed earlier the death of Prigozhin, after examining the bodies of the 10 people who were on the plane during the crash and following a confirmation from Wagner members who saw the body of the leader.
