ALBAWABA - Boeing has been facing major issues and troubles over problems regarding the safety of its planes, with the latest video of a plane wing on fire.
Boeing, the American aircraft manufacturing giant, is now facing a new wave of anger after one of its made planes, caught fire in Senegal.
In the latest incident, a TransAir plane, a Boeing 737-300, that was heading from Senegal to the capital of Mali, Bamako, was seriously damaged, according to Air Plus News.
Air Plus News posted on X on Thursday a picture of the plane and wrote: "Transair Senegal Boeing 737-300 (6V-AJE, built 1994) was seriously damaged when it overran the landing runway at Dakar-Intl Airport(GOBD), Senegal."
According to the media outlet, the plane's left wing and engine caught fire, however, all the passengers inside the plane; 73 people, were unharmed but some were slightly injured.
A video clip spread on social media also showed a plane bearing the logo of Senegal-based TransAir on the grass with its wing covered in "firefighting foam."
