ALBAWABA - Russian President Vladimir Putin marks today his 72nd birthday, with many supporters sharing unique pictures of the Russian leader on social media.
Vladimir Putin was born on October 7, 1952, in Leningrad. He is a former Russian intelligence officer. Putin has been the president of Russia from 1999 to 2008 and from 2012 to the present. He was also Russia's PM in 1999 and from 2008 to 2012.
It is worth noting that President Putin ordered on Feb 24, 2022, a "special military operation" in Kyiv, announcing the start of a large military invasion of Ukraine.
On his birthday, Ukraine confirmed carrying out a cyberattack targeting online broadcasts of Russian state television and radio channels affecting at least 20 Russian broadcasters including the Rossiya 24, Bloomberg reported.
