ALBAWABA - Egyptians have widely mocked and shared a photo showing a mummified duck displayed inside Luxor Museum, an archaeological museum in Luxor, Egypt.

A picture took over the X platform and made a trend across Egypt showing a mummified duck placed for viewers inside Luxor Museum.

The mummified duck dates back to 82 years ago and was placed inside a glass box. A paper reading: "A duck mummified by Dr. Zaki Iskandar in 1942," was placed in front of the artwork.

The mummified duck has been under a wave of mockery among Egyptians as many mockingly questioned "Is it a grilled or roasted duck?"

Many Egyptians questioned the weird appearance and asked why it looked in this state, unlike hundreds of things that were mummified by the ancient Egyptians.
