Moroccan child falls into a 17 meters well

ALBAWABA - Authorities announced that a Moroccan kid fell into a deep well in Belfaa town, in Chtouka-Aït Baha Province on Sunday.

Local media outlets reported that rescue men have succeeded in rescuing the 12-year-old child after he fell into a 17-meter well.

According to sources, the boy fell into a well in Southern Morocco on Sunday and was discovered by people, who called rescue workers immediately. 

Hespress website revealed that the Moroccan child was playing with his peers near the well, ran towards a building next to it without noticing its presence, and fell into it.

According to the media, the Moroccan child's peers called the family of the boy who rushed in to call authorities, after several attempts, the Moroccan child was rescued but he is suffering severe bruises and injuries.

This new case reminded people of Ryan child whose story became the talk of regional and international media outlets. Ryan, a Moroccan child, fell into an open well on Feb. 1, 2022, and despite multiple attempts to rescue him, authorities failed to save the child.

Ryan, 5, was dragged out of the well but was announced dead shortly on Feb. 5, 2022.
