The former Miss Iraq and candidate for the 2024 US Congressional elections, Sarah Idan, visited the towns in the Gaza Strip that witnessed Hamas attacks on October 7.
Idan posted photos on her social media pages showing her meetings with Israeli soldiers.
The invited guest, Sarah, a candidate for the 2024 U.S. Congressional elections, toured the demolished Israeli settlements along the Gaza border.
In 2017, Sarah Idan faced backlash after she posted pictures with Miss Israel, Adar Gandelsman, during the preparations for the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas. She captioned the photos with "Peace and Love from Miss Iraq and Miss Israel."
Additionally, in 2008, Sarah offered her services as a translator for the U.S. forces in Iraq.
Idan takes a defensive stance towards the Israeli state, stating, "The United States is my only homeland, and I need to protect it."
