ALBAWABA - An Iraqi woman claiming to be the daughter of Saddam Hussein has taken the internet by storm after posting a video on social media, expressing her readiness to undergo a DNA test to verify the authenticity of her words.

Additionally, Mira Saddam Hussein said that she was ready to receive any form of judgment if the DNA test results were proven false.

During the clip, Mira claimed to own villas and cars in Yemen, adding that they were given to her by Saddam Hussein himself. She resided in the country under the protection of the late Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh from 2003, until his killing in 2017 by the Houthis.

Mira added that her possessions were confiscated by the Houthis alongside her passport and official ID. According to her, she was also secretly detained and transferred to central prison where she served a year before being released.

She stated further that she used to go by a different name before Saddam Hussein's passing for "security reasons," but later appeared with her real name after the former Iraqi president was killed. The video in question sparked widespread debate and speculations among social media users who showcased a divide about its authenticity.

A social media user on Facebook wrote, "Saddam Hussein's only daughters are Rana Hussein, and Raghad Hussein. She's lying..."

Another added, "I expect anything because I think Raghad was living in Sanaa for a period of time."
