ALBAWABA - An Egyptian activist has posted a shocking video of SodaStream, an Israel-based manufacturing company, presenting items with production location read: "Made in Israel by Arabs and Jews".
The activist posted footage on social media where he captured a video of SodaStream products; bottles of Pepsi and 7 Up, but when he turned them over to see the production place, the explanation shocked many.
First, the production place was viewed as "Israel," however, what shocked many was the sentence reading "This product was produced by Arabs and Jews working side-by-side in peace and harmony."
The Israeli company was accused of promoting a fake narrative that Israelis and Palestinians are living in peace to cover up Israel's continuous attacks and illegal seizure of land as well as kicking Palestinians out of their homes.
It is worth noting that PepsiCo company acquired SodaStream, the Israeli company, for $3.2 billion in 2018 in a bid to diversify beyond sugary soft drinks.
Nonetheless, since the Israeli latest aggressive war in Gaza, many companies that are directly or indirectly related to Israel have been subjected to a harsh boycott campaign by pro-Palestinian activists.
The list of companies being boycotted is very long but includes; PepsiCo, McDonald's, Starbucks, Pizza Hut, HP, Coca-Cola, Puma, and many others.
