ALBAWABA - Pizza Hut, the American multinational pizza restaurant chain, which has been under a boycott campaign since the start of the latest Israeli aggression on Gaza, has recently retaken the internet by storm.

A new photo showing free meals distributed by Pizza Hut to Israeli soldiers amid the increasing number of deaths in Gaza has angered pro-Palestinian activists who renewed calls to strengthen boycotting the US Pizza chain.

A photo first shared on Israeli Instagram accounts "Proud to Help and Pizza Hut Israel" has reignited anger against Pizza Hut. The photo showed two Israeli soldiers happily holding a mountain of pizza boxes.

The internet exploded with the sentence "Boycott Pizza Hut" as many called to strictly avoid the restaurant chain just like activists are doing against many other brands including McDonald's and Starbucks, which confirmed losing millions amid the boycott campaign since Oct. 7.

A pro-Palestinian activist wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "@pizzahut
wants to go broke.

Let’s make it happen."

Another appeared in an apologizing video saying that she had Pizza Hut last week but now she regrets it: "I just had Pizza Hut last week, I didn’t f**king know. I'm sorry, I won't be eating pizza anymore!"

The boycott campaign against Pizza Hut and other brands that announced either sending free meals to the Israeli army or support to Israel, comes amid the increasing death toll in Gaza due to Israeli aggressive airstrikes on the strip.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza since Oct. 7 has risen to 24,927, with 62,388 others injured.
