ALBAWABA - Lebanon's security forces announced on Sunday that it has arrested six people in Hamra Street in Beirut for sexual crimes against minors.
Local Lebanese media posted clips last night showing a raid carried out by the Information Division on an apartment on Al-Lubban Street in Hamra, Beirut, leading to the arrest of six Iraqi people for sexually assaulting a number of minors.
Furthermore, a probe was launched into the case and with the detainees based on the judiciary’s reference, without any official Lebanese or Iraqi comment on the incident.
No further details were released yet into the case but many are saying that the minors who were subjected to sexual assaults were all Syrians and that the police also found some inside the apartment during the raid on Saturday night.
