ALBAWABA - A photo shared by The Mossad on Meta's Facebook has sparked wide anger and gained mixed reactions from the Lebanese community.

"Aren't you tired of being treated with mockery? Come join us at a place that respects you!" the caption of the photo reads.

In the picture, The Mossad was requesting Lebanese people to support them, they wrote: "A Lebanese, come with us. Send us a message today, because it is better than tomorrow."

They also requested people not to add likes or comments on the picture for their "safety," but asked people who want to cooperate to send private messages to the Facebook account.

The post on Facebook gained over 260 likes and more than 220 comments with some mocking the ad and the way they are seeking help from the Lebanese people.

A person commented: "I would if I could, I am not Jewish though." Another mockingly said: "Whenever I am bored I love reading comments."

Not only this one, but also the official Mossad account also posted on Sept. 23 a photo also calling Lebanese people to take their side in the extensive war between Israel and Hezbollah.

Despite that the post was made in August 25, people in Lebanon are currently sharing it amid the intensified war and exchanged attacks between Israel and Hezbollah.

Israel announced extending attacks on Hezbollah on September 23 and requested the Lebanese people to stay out of areas near any site linked to Hezbollah. The Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon killed at least 558 people, including 50 children, according to the Health Ministry in Lebanon.
