ALBAWABA - Rumors circulate on social media platforms claiming that former Lebanese President Michel Aoun died.
In detail, the Lebanese Annahar newspaper denied the rumors saying that no official comment or statement has been released yet to confirm or deny the death of Michel Aoun.
According to allegations, the former president was said to have passed away at Hôtel-Dieu de France in Beirut amidst "great secrecy from close associates, family and hospital staff."
Every once and a while, the same rumors take place on social media where some people claim that Michel Aoun is dead. However, they turn not true, Annahar also added.
Michel Aoun is the former president of Lebanon and severed from Oct. 31, 2016, until Oct. 30, 2022.
Currently, Lebanon is still suffering to replace his empty place as multiple voting sessions, which were held by the Lebanese cabinet, had failed to pick a new president for the country.
