ALBAWABA - With posters of individuals running to become members of the Parliament swarming the streets of Jordan, some locals took the matter into their own hands by photoshopping popular TV show characters as runner-ups including The Boys' Homelander, Breaking Bad's Walter White, and many more.
The photoshopped posters in question even made it to Jordanian streets as news reached social media platforms including X (formerly known as Twitter), Reddit, and Telegram.
Moreover, the posters even reached Western media outlets like Pubity, introducing the hilarious meme and making it go viral on a global scale.
Jordanians elect Homelander and Walter White for Parliament
With Homelander and Walter White's election posters going viral, locals created more of them featuring characters from other series like Suits and Game of Thrones including Daenerys Targaryen (Also known as Khaleesi) and Louis Litt.
Even The Deep and Billy Butcher from The Boys made it to the cursed roster.
According to Roya News, the Homelander poster started it all with X user extremeblitz_ being the first user to share it across social media and captioned it with, "Wtf is going on in Jordan."
extremeblitz_ later shared a screenshot of Roya's Instagram post captioning it with "Real News."
He also said on his official account, "What have I started in this country…" as he posted more photos of the widespread posters.
This all comes after many locals complained about the plethora of posters being put up by elects across the country which led to issues with safety while driving, since some of them blocked traffic lights and important signs.
