ALBAWABA - As Israeli forces raided the Shu'fat refugee camp in Jerusalem, videos of Israeli soldiers abusing teen Palestinian schoolgirls triggered online anger.

Multiple videos were shared on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) showing Israeli soldiers stopping female Palestinian students heading to schools and inappropriately searching them.

In the first clip, an Israeli soldier was seen holding a schoolgirl next to a wall, searching her body and grabbing her "private parts" in an "inappropriate" way.

The video caused controversy among many pro-Palestinian activists on social media who strongly condemned the behavior of the soldier in the footage and called it "harassment".

Another video was also shared online showing another Israeli soldier also searching another schoolgirl in the West Bank's Shu'fat refugee camp in Jerusalem this morning.

The West Bank has been witnessing multiple raids by Israeli forces and arresting many Palestinians with the latest being activist Ahed Tamimi, 22, from the West Bank village of Nabi Saleh.

Since Oct. 7 and the Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel, occupation forces have arrested over 2,080 people from the West Bank, Anadolu Agency reported Sunday citing the Palestinian Prisoners Society.
