ALBAWABA - A recent letter published by Nahum Barnea, a chief analyst for Yediot Ahronot newspaper, reveals disturbing details from an Israeli military doctor who served in the Gaza Strip.

The doctor, who chose to remain anonymous, paints a grim picture of the army's conduct, accusing them of looting, burning homes, and executing Palestinian prisoners without trial.

The doctor's account reflects the sentiments of many Israelis, who felt anger and a desire for revenge following events on October 7. He describes how these emotions led to acts of insubordination among soldiers, with some resorting to looting and arson in Gaza.

According to the doctor, the looting was systematic, with soldiers seizing items ranging from beds to children's toys. Even small appliances like electric vacuum cleaners were not spared.

Expressing deep embarrassment over these actions, the doctor emphasizes that the army's operations seemed aimed at causing harm rather than fulfilling any legitimate objective.

The lack of discipline within the army is evident, as commanders allegedly turned a blind eye to soldiers' political messages, often extremist in nature.

Furthermore, the doctor recounts disturbing incidents where Palestinian prisoners were executed, highlighting the brutal nature of the army's actions.

These revelations have sparked outrage both domestically and internationally, with many condemning the army's conduct as a violation of human rights.

In response to these allegations, the Israeli government has remained largely silent, raising concerns about accountability and transparency within the military.
