ALBAWABA - A video was shared showing an Israeli bulldozer destroying the monument of former President of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat has triggered massive anger online.

In the footage, a monument of Yasser Arafat, who passed away on Nov. 11, 2004, aged 75, was placed in the West Bank city of Tulkarm when Israeli forces destroyed it using a bulldozer.

Israeli forces have been storming the West Bank and arresting Palestinians along with its continuous airstrikes and a ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier in October, Israeli army forces also destroyed a statue that was in the shape of a horse which was made from the remains of destroyed ambulance vehicles in Jenin.

A photo was captured today amid Israeli forces' raids on the Jenin refugee camp showing occupation soldiers with an excavator as they were dragging the statue away after destroying it.

Gaza's government media office reported on Tuesday that the death toll in the strip has surged to 11,320 people. "The victims include 4,650 children and 3,145 women, while 29,200 others are injured," the office said in a statement.
