ALBAWABA - Israeli forces arrested on Monday morning freed Palestinian prisoner Ahed Tamimi, Al-Jazeera reported.

According to sources occupation forces arrested the Palestinian activist after storming her family home in the village of Nabi Saleh, Ramallah.

Pro-Palestinian activists said that the Israeli forces have wreaked great havoc on the home of the family of Ahed Tamimi.

In December 2017, Tamimi was detained by Israeli authorities for slapping a soldier in a video that went viral worldwide.

She was sentenced to eight months in prison after agreeing to a plea bargain and was released on July 29, 2018.

Palestinian Prisoners' Club said this morning that Israeli forces arrested about 50 Palestinians overnight in several cities in the West Bank.
