In the pictures widely shared on social media, one of the mosque's caretakers was seen holding the hair that was placed in a transparent glass box, while dozens gathered around him to take pictures.

The Mosque shared the news on the night of the 27th of Ramadan, which is considered one of the nights likely to be the blessed Night of Destiny.

The incident of the hair allegedly said to belong to Prophet Muhammad has sparked mixed reactions, led by comments from people who doubted that the hair belonged to the Prophet, who lived more than 1,400 years ago.
