ALBAWABA - An Iraqi man has sparked a wide outage on social media platforms after his story went viral. The man was accused of luring his son and selling his kidney for money.
In detail, Iraqi local media reported that an Iraqi father in Maysan Governorate lured his son, 22, and made different excuses to force him to travel to northern the country.
However, the Iraqi man from Qalaat Saleh District, south of the governorate, agreed with a gang to forcibly take the Iraqi son's kidney in exchange for an amount of money.

Once the son of the man arrived in northern the governorate, the gang took him to one of the hospitals there drugged him against their well and took his kidney.
Maysan Governorate Police Command announced arresting the father who confessed to committing the crime and agreeing to sell his son's kidney in exchange for money.
Activists online called on the Iraqi government and judicial embers to enforce the worst punishment against the father for his "horrific crime".
