ALBAWABA - An Iraqi child was tortured to death at the hands of his stepmother in Baghdad triggering wide anger on social media.
Shocking pictures of the young victim, Mousa Walaa, emerged online showing scars of brutal torture on the young child's body causing wide controversy about "how was his father silenced by the torture of his young child?"
According to Iraqi media sources, the young child was found dead on the ground after he was exposed to torture at the hands of his stepmother in the Iraqi capital.

The horrific crime took place near the city of Al Shula in the capital, Baghdad. According to Iraqi authorities, the stepmother attempted to flee policemen but was arrested.
Security sources revealed that the Iraqi child had been exposed to stabbing with knives, electrocuted, stabbed and etched with salt at the hands of the perpetrator until he died.
Furthermore, the father of the Iraq child who was tortured to death is affiliated with one of the security services in the region which made activists also more outage.
Activists and child rights advocates have called on Iraqi authorities to implement the worst punishment against the stepmother who is accused of killing her husband's young boy.
According to Iraqi officials, the reason or motivation behind the horrific crime is yet to be known, however, some allegedly said that the stepmother was not suffering from any mental condition.
